"The machine
doesn't look
pretty and, in
truth, it isn't.
It runs, and it
works, but it
isn't for the
faint of heart
so to speak.
Ideally the
buyer should
already be
familiar with
Alar machines,
that would make
it
a lot easier. It
was ran basically
in "manual"
mode. That is,
when we
wanted it to do
something we
manually pushed
a button or
operated a
switch to make
it happen. There
was too much
missing for it
to ever run
in fully
automatic mode
as it was
originally
designed. The
knife advance
was automatic
(when the filter
media was
'loaded' with
dirt, the knife
advanced to
shave it
slightly). I'm
willing to offer
support over the
phone to the
buyer but it
definitely sells
as is."
